Come hear from Surprise Police and Fire representatives on how to be more prepared in the event of a local or national emergency.  Discussion will focus on general preparation as well as the specific needs of individuals with disabilities and seniors.

People with disabilities represent the fastest growing minority population in the world and have an estimated $175 billion in discretionary spending power.  The key to tapping into this is providing effective customer service to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Assistive technology (AT) can make performing everyday life activities possible for individuals with disabilities.  Come learn more about various types of assistive technology through hands-on demonstrations.  Services offered by the Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP) can help you or a family member make  informed choices about assistive technology and show you what resources may be available to assist with purchasing products.

Experts in the areas of autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and mental retardation will provide an overview of these four disabilities and answer your questions.
